I have purchased No Great Mischief. I am rather indimidated by the reviews on the back:
"MacLeod...is the greatest living Canadian writer.... No Great Mischief is the book of the year -- and of this decade. It is a once-in-a-lfetime masterpiece."
— Globe and Mail
Oh, the pressure! If I don't like it, am I plebeian?
It's only 283 pages, so I should be done by Monday, if the home life doesn't go wild. Which it usually does.
