Sorry it's a little late, but my household was supporting Spider-man for City Council.
Because Spidey acknowledges that "with great power comes great responsibility".
He is both "friendly" and "neighbourhood".
He's "brilliant but lazy".
Green Goblin already warned him that "No matter what you do for them, eventually, they will hate you." Sounds like politics to me!
